Reporting to Parents

Linc-ed Reporting

All of our reporting to parents/caregivers is now being done by our cloud based system LincEd.  Please click on the link below to view the Parent Portal.  You must have a password to be able to use this link.

To fulfil our reporting requirements to parents, Elmwood Normal School report on the National Standards twice a year. These are issued either to coincide with a child’s time at school in the first three years (20, 40, 60, 80, 100 or 120 weeks), or at mid year and end of the year for Y4-6 students.  All reporting comments will be through our new cloud-based student management system – Linc-ed.  These will be ‘real time’ reporting, so you will be notified via email when your child’s teacher or teaching assistant has written a comment.

As required by the Ministry of Education the reports are in relation to the National Standards for Reading, Writing and Mathematics. This translates for Y0-2 children as rolling reporting, based on the child’s time at school. Your child’s teacher will contact you when the interim or anniversary report is due. You will be invited to the school to share in the first report of the year.
